Sustainability
Our Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) has been delivering plant equipment to Lower Thames Crossing, helping drive zero-emission transport across the project without compromising safety, reliability or performance.
Lynch are proud to operate the UK's first fully electric heavy goods vehicle (HGV) supporting the construction industry towards a net zero future. The Special Types STGO CAT 2 vehicle produces zero local emissions, with a 416kWh battery capacity and payload capability of up to 45 tonnes.
Our BEV fleet will continue to grow, with additional electric units joining in 2026 as we further invest in sustainable transport solutions.
Together, these vehicles demonstrate how decarbonisation can be successfully integrated into modern supply chains and major infrastructure projects across the UK.
