Supporting Safer, Smarter Delivery at Lower Thames Crossing

By Lynch

reading time

Over the past year, our teams have continued to work closely with Lower Thames Crossing to help drive safer operations, digital innovation and skills development across the project.

More than 20 site personnel successfully completed Loadmaster training, helping to upskill teams and reinforce best practice around lifting operations and safe plant movement. The programme ensured staff left fully certificated and better equipped to operate safely and efficiently on site.

Our teams have also delivered a series of Red Zone safety sessions at Hole Farm, engaging and educating more than 60 site staff throughout the course of the project. Red Zone sessions focus on improving people plant interface, promoting safe behaviours and strengthening on-site safety culture.

All Lynch customers have been successfully onboarded onto our digital customer portal. Through the portal our customers can view their emissions data, monitor idle times, manage incursions and access operational insights that contribute to both compliance and efficiency targets.

By improving visibility and accessibility of project data, the portal has helped teams make more informed operational decisions while contributing to sustainability objectives across the project.
