Lynch has welcomed new Low Entry, High Visibility Tippers to the fleet! These are now on London’s roads.
The Low Entry design from Scania puts Drivers at the same level as other vehicles and vulnerable road users, giving them an optimal view and allowing them to engage with the environment. Their direct vision is improved, blind spots are reduced, and additional safety camera systems connects Drivers to their surroundings.
Iulian Cutas, Lynch Tipper Driver, has been driving one of our brand-new Tippers in London today, removing material from site. He commented that “I have a good connection with what is around me and feel a lot less isolated from my surroundings as compared with a High Cab Tipper.”
More visibility for our Drivers improves their driving experience. They can see all vulnerable road users like pedestrians and cyclists and get a wider view of their surroundings. We want to do our bit to make London’s streets safer for everyone and these Lorries will be the first of many to join our fleet.
