Ricardo is a Plant Operator for Lynch and is a great example of one of our people being the best that they can be. He has shown that he will always go above and beyond to help our customers. His passion, respect and can-do attitude are evident every day and he is valued as part of the team.
Ricardo has been working at Albany Park, Enfield, helping with the flood alleviation scheme. He has been digging trenches for drainage chambers and lifting the concrete chambers into the ground.
Our customer, Jamie, had some kind words to say about Ricardo:
“The Albany Park project has been ongoing for a year, and Ricardo joined us around 6 months ago. When Ricardo joined, we were coming out of a horrible winter. The weather was awful, muddy, and difficult working conditions, and I think everyone was a bit fed up and felt a little stale.
When Ricardo showed up, he brought with him so much enthusiasm and energy. He gave us all a nudge and he really did brighten the whole job up, despite the winter.
Ricardo is lively, passionate, always on time, and gets the job done right the first time. He’s happy to do anything required, not just operate the digger. He will help the guys on the ground and help operate other machinery if he can. He really mucks in, and it feels like we just have another one of our own team members on the job.
It’s a public park, and so we often find ourselves interacting with members of the public. Everyone knows him and likes him, and he will speak to absolutely anyone: dog walkers, runners, and mums and dads dropping their children off at the school.
He’s a great addition to the project. He came onto the site at just the right time.”
Thank you, Ricardo.
