Machine Control
Training
Lynch are delighted to announce that we are partnering with CITB in order to help us get even more Operators trained using the very latest GPS Machine Control Technology.
We understand the importance of training and development of Operators, ensuring they have the capability to get the job done right first time. We take pride in delivering quality training, that is new and innovative in the industry.
Our GPS Machine Control Centre in Cambridgeshire gives Operators the chance to use and embrace this new technology. They receive classroom training, which is then supported by practical learning, without being forced to learn with simulators which will inevitably be different when they get onto site. All of this helps up to support Operators, and increase skills within the industry.
Sarah Peace, CITB Advisor, who is responsible for Buckinghamshire and specific Hertfordshire companies like Lynch, and Elizabeth Steel, new Customer Engagement Manager for the South East visited David Stubbs and Gez Bonner, Training Managers, at our Southern Depot to discuss our partnership moving forward, and catch up on the progress we have made in training.
The Skills and Training Fund was set up to help SMEs develop their skills and business, including through new technology to improve productivity. It’s great that Lynch are leading the way in this by developing brand new training for plant, and at a time when major infrastructure projects are generating significant demand in the sector.
