Lynch supporting National Autistic Society Garden Project

By Sophie Holdrick

reading time

Lynch are delighted to collaborate with Balfour Beatty and other supply chain partners to support Stonepit Close’s Garden Maintenance and Sensory Garden design and build project.

Stonepit Close is a charity-led residential home for adults with Autism, and in 2022 they sadly lost the vital funding that allowed them to pay a dedicated gardener. They desperately need support in transforming their outside space, making it accessible, safer, and more enjoyable for people with specific and complex needs.

Steve Sutch, Director and George Sutch, Sales Manager, were excited to get stuck in and prep the space: mowing lawns, soil prep and weeding, clearing rubbish and cutting back ivy.

We’re passionate about aligning our social responsibilities and values with our customers and the rest of the supply chain. We put our communities at the heart of what we do, and it’s great to work with Balfour Beatty, leaving a positive legacy in the local areas.

Steve Sutch, Director

Lynch have been working closely with Balfour Beatty on the M25 J10 project, situated just a few miles from Stonepit Close, and so we were pleased to be able to help. Community engagement projects like these are so important to us and we are passionate about giving back and seeing real benefits to local people.

All of this helps us leave a positive legacy while building Britain’s infrastructure.
