Lynch was delighted to support London’s homeless community, donating to and volunteering at the event organised by Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture (SCS JV) this weekend.
Members of the Lynch Team, Caroline Kinley, Head of Finance, Tessa Leigh, National Recruitment Manager and Emery Roosburg, Business Operations Analyst, packed food supplies, toiletries and clothes, then headed to the streets to distribute the bags to people in need. Lynch was also pleased to donate hats, boxer shorts, foil blankets, gloves and soap to add to the duffel bags, all to help keep vulnerable people warm this winter.
Helping the homeless puts things into perspective for you. You get a chance to talk to these people, hear their stories or say ‘Merry Christmas’ to them. Everyone was so thankful, and some of these people are just waiting for anyone to help them out. It could be anyone in that situation, and so the stigma around homelessness had to change. Be kind, be thankful and help each other where we can.
