Lynch Plant Hire and Buckingham Group contracting have joined up to purchase a defibrillator for Molly’s Community Cafe in Steeple Claydon, frequented by many Operators who are working on large railway infrastructure projects in the area.
The cafe serves the local community and is a welcoming and social space for many people, and they host many events including coffee, chat sessions and craft evenings for local people. When we found out that they were fundraising to raise money for a life-saving defibrillator to be installed outside their premises, we were more than happy to help.
James Barden, Head of Sales (South), Steven Sutch, Director and Dragos Zaharia, Works Manager for Buckingham Group were both delighted to visit the cafe to hand over the defibrillator to Jo Vipan the cafe owner.
We are passionate about the wellbeing of people, being a good neighbour and working with local communities around our projects. Being able to donate the defibrillator helps us leave a positive legacy.
