Training
We're excited that our latest Careers in Plant recruits have started their Operator Training in Birmingham today. Four individuals will begin their journey into the construction industry, with the help of our experienced Operator Training team. They will undergo ten days of intensive training, which will not only enable them to gain their Dumper, Roller and ADT tickets, but also learn important safety aspects and understand the reality of a being on a construction site.
Tessa Leigh, National Recruitment Manager said that “The Careers in Plant Scheme is an amazing opportunity to get into the ever-growing Construction Industry, with the backing of a leading plant hire company. We understand the need for great Operators, and this scheme helps people to develop the skills they need to advance in their careers with us.”
We are all so excited for our new recruits, and we know that it’s going to be a challenging but rewarding ten days
Gez Bonner - National Training Manager
Gez Bonner, National Training Manager, said that “We’ve designed an enhanced training course that not only provides these individuals with knowledge of plant, but also allows them to see what working on a real live site is like. We’ve carefully selected our training area, so it allows us to adapt and create new scenarios every day, just like a construction site. We will be working with so much varied plant, all different sizes and all different manufacturers, with the aim that all our trainees will come out of the other side ready for whatever we put in front of them. We are all so excited, and we know that it’s going to be a challenging but rewarding ten days.”
The Careers in Plant Scheme is unique to Lynch and we would like to encourage anyone who might be interested in a Career in Plant to get in touch.
