Last week, Lynch were invited to the Highways England Diversity Data workshop, alongside HS2, Network Rail and TFL.
Tessa Leigh Allen-Ridge, National Recruitment Manager and Gez Bonner AMInstLM, National Training Manager represented Lynch, spoke about women in construction, and what we do to attract and train women in our business.
As part of the webinar, we were able to spotlight four of the great women that we have working on site with us. Plant Operators Chloe, Dayna, Lottie and Maria all shared an insight into their journey and their positive experiences with Lynch.
The average percentage of women making up the workforce for SME’s in the Construction Industry is 17%.
Lynch is proud that our workforce is 32% female, and this will grow as we continue our work on major infrastructure projects.
If you have a sister, cousin, auntie, or female friend that is looking for their next opportunity, then please share this post with them.
The doors are open for women in construction at Lynch! Call 020 8733 2024 for more information and to arrange an appointment with our Recruitment Team in the New Year.
