Liam Lynch founded L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage over 40 years ago, with just one machine but plenty of ambition.
He recently sat down with Michael Dodd to tell his story and share anecdotes from the early days of Lynch; his first machines, how his late wife Celia helped to shape the company, and many important lessons he’s learnt along the way.
Liam strongly believes that our people are at the heart of our business, emphasising the importance of teamwork and the value of attracting and retaining the right people who share the company's values (can do, passion and teamwork), who are determined to provide a right first time service for our customers. He is passionate that we collaborate with our customers and entire supply chain, playing our part in innovating a safer and more sustainable industry for everyone.
Liam also talks about his hopes for the future of Lynch, a family business, and speaks fondly of his sons Merrill and Rob. He has full confidence that as the future Managing Directors of the company, with support from other directors and the wider team, we will achieve our vision to be the best plant hire company nationwide.
