By Sophie Holdrick

Project Overview:

The A164 Jock's Lodge Improvement Scheme is set to redefine connectivity and safety standards from Beverley to Hull. This ambitious project involves the replacement of the Jock's Lodge junction, facilitating better journeys between A164 Hull to Beverly and A1079 Hull to York. The scheme includes the construction of a new roundabout on the A1079 to enhance access to Beverley, and the expansion of a segment of the A164 into a dual carriageway. By addressing congestion and optimising traffic flow, the aim is to transform commuting experiences, reduce rush hour traffic and foster economic growth in the region.

Lynch are supporting our customer Graham, by providing Operated Plant Hire to the project.

Red Zone Training Overview:

Recently, our team conducted a comprehensive Red Zone Training session at the A164 Jock's Lodge Improvement Scheme site, emphasising our commitment to safety. Led by Rob Lynch, this practical and interactive training emphasised the significance of red zones and people plant interface.

With Graham's team and their supply chain in attendance, we were able to share knowledge and best practice, with a real focus on safety. Our ethos revolves around building a Safety First Mindset with industry-leading practices, ensuring the wellbeing of our customers, colleagues and wider stakeholders.

We're committed to helping our customers build Britain's infrastructure, and the A164 Jock's Lodge Improvement Scheme with Grahams is no exception. If we can help with safety on your site, contact us today.
