Purpose: To support the People & Culture team and your business area, across a range of HR processes in order to drive our people experience. The role will have a focus on both first- and second-line support on employee relation matters, as well the overall delivery of all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

You will report into the People & Culture Manager
Focus areas of the role:
The success of the role will be measured against the effective implementation of the following focus areas:
Oversee full-cycle onboarding and offboarding of staff. Helping to deliver a consistently seamless onboarding experience for new joiners.
Accurately draft and issue offer letters and contracts of employment.
HR system set-ups, changes and leavers - maintaining accurate employee records.
Partner with Payroll and deliver timely reports to ensure payroll data is processed correctly, covering new starters, leavers, changes, bonuses and benefits.
Track and manage probation periods and contract changes.
Ensure Right to Work checks have been carried out and are accurately recorded in the HR system.
Ensure relevant support functions are advised of new starters, leavers and changes through both reporting and following the relevant procedure.
Be the first point of contact for HR support requests and queries.
Support on recognition and anniversary rewards.
Overseeing archiving of team documents in support of ISO 27001.
Implement and organise the People & Culture document management system.
To support in accurate wider communication to the business, such as consistent communication of new joiners, movers and leavers via the company's Intranet.
Coordinate inductions for new joiners and work with managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Conduct People & Culture introductions to new joiners, including carrying out relevant training on how to use the HR system and company procedures.
Advise on queries regarding employee benefits, onboarding, reference requests.
Coordinate off-boarding processes for employees and lead on exit interviews, escalating to the People & Culture Manager where necessary.
Coordinate recruitment processes including posting job adverts, coordinating candidate communications and liaising with our partner agencies.
To coordinate and deliver on the company's reward and recognition programme, including but not limited to people awards and long service awards.
To provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relation matters, with the aim to manage and resolve issues in a timely manner.
To conduct as well as support on effective, thorough and objective investigations.
To provide first and second line support on employee relation matters, including but not limited to long term sick, performance management, grievances and disciplinaries.
To escalate complex employee relations matters to the People & Culture Manager/Director where necessary.
To support on ad-hoc People & Culture projects as and when required.

Education & Qualifications/Experience:
CIPD Level 3 Certificate or a degree in a HR related field is essential.
Knowledge of employment legislation and best practice is essential.
High-level proficiency in HR systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of UK-GDPR and Right to Work.
Experience as a HR advisor is essential.
