Finance Analyst

Required in: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage Ltd are currently looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team, based at our head office in Hemel Hempstead. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of asset purchasing and managing the HP or leasing agreements including posting to the accounts as well as general adhoc tasks and projects as they arise

Job Details – Day to Day responsibilities

  • Asset management of purchases and sales and overseeing the correct treatment for additions
  • Managing the lease or HP agreement documentation
  • Posting asset accruals and prepayments
  • Land Remediation claims and R&D claim preparation
  • Rebates & Accruals
  • HMRC Support
  • Other Adhoc Analysis 

Key Skills & Experience


  • AAT Qualified / qualified by experience
  • Experience of double entry accounting in the workplace
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel (Vlookups and Pivot tables)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowing the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive self-starter
